JargonSpy Gets 'Groovy'

This week's JargonSpy column mentions about a newish programming language that Dan Woods recently learned about at a New York CTO club meeting: Groovy, a "a Java-friendly language with many of the properties of Ruby and Python."

Woods mentions that CTO's tend to get "in a lather" when you ask them which programming language they're going to use to build their sites, because the wrong decision can sink a company.

Woods likes Groovy, because it can work seamlessly with Java, and, as result, won't cause major headaches for programmers.

To learn more about Groovy's benefits, go to the column here.
