JargonSpy Touches on 'Multi-Touch Confusion'

In his Dec. 8 Jargon Spy column, Dan Woods writes about bouncing between multi-touch and non-multi-touch devices, and how users can get confused when going from something like a touchscreen mobile phone to a laptop that doesn't have a touchscreen.

Woods comes to the conclusion that multi-touch is better than point-and-click, and says that until software catches up with the multi-touch paradigm, users will notice that they're getting baffled going between the two mediums.
