Compliance Sleight of Hand

In this week's Forbes JargonSpy column, Dan Woods uses the "sleight of hand" metaphor to discuss some of the drawbacks to using GRC software with older applications.

As Woods explains, "if your company has an ancient application that supports a specific relationship with a customer or a stable manufacturing process, it is unlikely that the modern GRC software will be built to reach in and grab the right data."

Woods goes on to talk about how a company called Lumigent has one "sleight of tech that can help fill in the some of the inevitable blanks not covered by GRC software."

To learn more about this "sleight of tech," you can read the article here.
